Now that we’ve truly gone through the looking glass on CBD, it’s important to remain aware that just because something says it has CBD in it / on it / near it, that’s no guarantee that there’s actually CBD present. (And if there is some CBD on that cheeseburger, it’s most likely in a form your body can’t use.)
Bioavailable CBD is the gold standard, but that doesn’t mean it can be absorbed any where on your body! As we’ve highlighted in the past, adding CBD to food or drink does not ensure an authentic CBD experience. Your digestion system is made for a different purpose than accessing your ECS (endocannabinoid system) with any kind of efficiency. You’re much better off putting it under your tongue!
But that’s not going to stop anyone from slapping those three magic letters “CBD” on any random products in the pursuit of profits over people.
Protect yourself from bad or ineffective products by always looking for CBD that is sourced from quality flower (check), processed with no chemicals or solvents (check) and independently tested for purity & strength (check!).
