Meet Modern Medicinals from Portland. We’re one of the first Oregon processors, yep, and have been for more than five years now.

For five years we have been using the terms bioavailable, solvent-free, THC-free, alcohol-free, organic, track-able and tested to describe our CBD OIL. We are now seeing other companies finally recognizing the importance of practicing the methods behind these words. 9Whether they are rigorously incorporating these techniques or just borrowing our words remains to be seen.)

Modern Medicinals personally inspects and independently tests all the CBD Flower in our product. The grower is our friend and partner in producing the highest quality organic CBD products.

The Mm process is done entirely in-house. We control every step of the process, from purchasing to prep to bottling to blogging.

The Oregon CBD Flower used is hand inspected and all non-Trichome bearing parts are removed. These parts contain the bitter Terpenes and no CBD.

The certified organic fractionated coconut oil has three main characteristics and is preferred over raw coconut oil for the following reasons:

It stays liquid at room temprature.

It does not spoil.

The allergen is removed, for those with nut sensitivities.

And while we don’t talk much about the actual Mm process, it is very environmentally respectful. Not one bit goes into the sewer. We don’t use solvents, so there are none to buy or dispose of. The end products of the Mm process go into the recycling bin or the compost. The Bureau of Environmental Services has recognized these practices and issue Modern Medicinals three separate waivers from monitoring requirements!

The Modern Medicinals facility is inspected annually and is an approved licensed food safety facility by the Oregon Deptartment of Agriculture.
