We’ve been having a lot of conversations lately with people about the vast quantity of information about CBD that’s available these days. Unfortunately, all that information does not automatically improve the quantity of knowledge!
Nevertheless, we’re always interested in spreading good ideas and (for the most part)* we think this article deserves a shout out.

*We don’t agree with the article’s subheadline that CBD works better with THC, but they are spot on when they say that CBD in isolate form is not a beneficial as CBD taken with complementary compounds:
“This is the difference between a single chemical entity, such as cannabidiol (CBD) and what the whole [cannabis] plant can do as an integrated preparation,” said Dr. Ethan Russo, director of research and development at the International Cannabis and Cannabinoids Institute. “Multiple components produce synergy and a much better result than a single compound can alone.”
Of course Mm is full of all of those other beneficial cannabinoids and 100% bioavailable!
There’s also a good call out to the fact that you can buy CBD almost anywhere these days but that find a quality source is still the best option:
“It’s easy to say because of the profusion of [CBD on the market] that it’s all witchcraft or snake oil, but that’s not the case,” said Russo. “CBD is a very versatile and hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves over the decades. [However] it’s these easy access options, such as online retailers and even gas stations, touting CBD products that often leave people skeptical of it. But that shouldn’t necessarily be the case either.”
The article continues:
Unfortunately, most of these sources are unregulated, said Dr. Jordan Tishler, member of the medical advisory board at cannabisMD and president of theAssociation of Cannabis Specialists. This means that if you’re not careful about where you’re buying CBD from, you may actually be buying a product that contains little or no CBD at all.”
Quality starts at the source! That’s why we work with the best growers in the state of Oregon to ensure only the best ingredients go into each bottle of Modern Medicinals. In addition, we test every batch of Mm for purity and strength using state accredited labs and make these test results available for anyone to see.
